The estimator
Our own AI system, built for architectural estimation.
Think Claude Code or Codex, made for estimators, on the latest frontier models. It reads the set, measures, prices and asks when drawings disagree.
See how it worksUpload the drawings. MillOS reads, measures and prices them, and shows you where every number came from.
Got it. Picking the work back up.
The film
Let MillOS do the counting. You keep the final say on every line. See how a whole bid comes together in under four minutes.
Every building starts as a set of drawings. Someone has to read every line, and turn it into a price.
Every project starts with a number. Before a single cabinet gets built, somebody has to estimate it. And that somebody... is you.
Estimator: Okay. Base cabinets, uppers, countertops... let's start counting.
The set lands. Hundreds of sheets. So you hop sheet to sheet. Scale it. Count it. Measure it. Check the spec. Type it in. It takes days. And every scope gap is on you.
Seven in ten building contractors say estimating jobs are hard to fill. So good shops pass on good work.
Maybe you've tried an AI chat. It hands you a spreadsheet. But where did this number come from? You'd check every line by hand. And you'd still switch between six tools.
That's why we built MillOS. The AI-native workspace for architectural estimation. Built by industry experts and AI engineers. Think Claude Code... but for estimators.
Then we gave it the tools of the trade. A Takeoff Studio where you mark and measure yourself. A file cloud, like your own drive. A workbook with the spreadsheet tools you use. Your product library. And a team of Experts that does the work.
Getting set up is easy. Do it once. Your product library, your pricing rules, your shop's instructions. Invite your team, and you're ready.
Create a project, upload the bid, and ask. First, it asks a few quick questions. Then a team of Experts goes to work, area by area. Watch the marks appear as it measures. If something doesn't add up, it raises an RFI, and keeps going.
Want a second set of eyes? An independent Expert can check the priced estimate. So close the laptop. It keeps working.
When you're back, the estimate review is waiting. Click any line, and see exactly what was measured, on which sheet, and why.
Estimator: Huh. It actually shows its receipts.
Ask it anything, like a colleague. Approve, or ask for a change, and send it back. Fix a mark yourself, or edit the workbook, and the numbers follow. And nothing goes out until you approve it.
Now picture bid week. Three sets running at once, while you walk a job site. A question pops up on your phone, and you answer it between meetings.
By bid day, the numbers are in... and you still made it home for dinner. Your drawings and prices stay private to your shop. And it gets better with every bid. Hand off the counting, not the judgment.
Or keep counting by hand. The shops that bid more, win more.

3 steps
One, two, three, done. Most teams are ready in about five minutes.
Add your team, adjust the product library and give MillOS your rules. About five minutes.
Upload the drawings and let MillOS work. Close the laptop; it keeps going.
Come back, check each line and give feedback. MillOS writes the proposal you share by link.
It does not just hand you a workbook. Click any line to see what was measured, on which sheet, and why. Ask about any number the way you would ask a colleague. We tuned MillOS across more than 100 real estimating workflows so it can run a bid end to end, and every step stays open to you.
Transaction top is not priced yet: it waits on one question.
More bids out every week. More jobs won. A shop that grows without a bigger backlog. Keep bids moving from your phone.
Follow a run, answer its questions and check files from your phone. Measuring and the full review happen at your desk.

Early figures. We will publish measured numbers from pilot shops.
We take privacy and security seriously, and the answers are simple. Your data is private to your company and stored securely. It is never used to train AI models, and our AI providers keep nothing once a request is done.
AI will change how all work gets done. We want that change to give people their time back: less counting, more building, more room for creative work and real growth. MillOS is built by a team of industry experts and AI engineers. Our mission is to make estimating fast, accurate and within reach of every shop. We are starting with millwork and will add other trades soon.
Tell us a little about your shop. We will set you up and run your first bid with you.
